So less that 24 hours after my note about Phishing scams is posted, I receive an E-mail from PayPal Abuse Department asking me to update my personal information. Timing could not have been more perfect.
Here is what the body of the message looked like…
As a real victim of Identity Theft, I can tell you that it is one of the worst experiences you can possibly go through in your life. You have no control over where your personal information is going, where it has been, or how it is being used. The scary thing is that you only find out AFTER a crime has been committed.

Continuing to build your financial empire includes cleaning up your credit report. Even the little things can and will effect your credit score so why not make sure everything is accurate. Once you’ve reviewed your report, if you find something suspect, dispute it!!
As I have said in previous posts, I am a victim of ID Theft. This reality is a hard one to accept and in order to deal with it you need a little persistence and you have to be very aware of all of your accounts.
